Welcome!

The Bellemeade Farm Shoppe is located in Mabou, Nova Scotia, on the rugged west coast of Cape Breton Island. Our flock of sheep is shorn once a year in the spring and their wool is transformed into a variety of unique, handmade products! Our shoppe retails sheepskin products, hand-dyed yarn, and knitting supplies, as well as handwoven items and handcrafted knitwear crafted in our tiny textile studio above the store.

Hours of Operation:
Our thanks to all the people who supported our shop in the past. Our shop on the farm is now permanently closed. However, we do make a weekly appearance at the Mabou Farmers' Market on Sundays from 11 to 2 during the summer until October. We hope to see you there.
